The
insurance provided by the Circle of Health will be
offered to all Mille Lacs Band members and their
families to the extent that those individuals are
covered under the guidelines of their underlying
coverage. This will include a non-member child who is
under 19 years of age and is the natural or adopted
child, stepchild, foster-child or orphan of a Band
member.
Additionally, if such a child is so severely disabled
that he or she is found by a court to be legally
incompetent prior to attaining 19 years of age, he or
she will remain eligible for the Circle of Health
coverage until one year after the date that the
disability has been removed.
Non-member spouses will also be eligible for the Circle of Health
coverage. We also
cover non-member women who are pregnant with a Band
member's child for the duration of the pregnancy, and
six weeks post-partum.
