Circle
of Health does not replace existing coverage. It is
still the responsibility of each member to apply for and
accept all other available health coverage and insurance
plans. For example, you must enroll in Medical
Assistance or Minnesota Care if you are eligible. In
fact, one of the things Circle of Health will do is to
help you to determine the full extent of benefits for
which you are otherwise eligible. The Circle of Health
will pay for the following:
Co-pays for prescription drugs and medical
visits.
Co-premium payments for single or family
coverage. You will no longer have a payroll deduction
for health insurance or you may be reimbursed.
Medicare supplemental coverage and part B
premiums.
Certain upgrades for durable medical
equipment.
Services not paid for by your underlying
coverage as listed in the benefit section.
If you are not eligible for any health
coverage through the state in which you live, the
Circle of Health will pay for coverage through a group
policy.
